I am Bruce Petray. Most people know me as a “Part Time Employee” at Natural State Fly Shop in Cotter AR. If you know me, you know that I have “Retired” several times but have never successfully accomplished it. I have had the pleasure of fishing with many of you and maybe we actually caught fish. I am sure many of you have been entertained if not dumfounded by my techniques, but I have caught Nice Fish in our area.

I hope to be able to have 3 short conversations with you about the Caddis Hatch on the White River (as it applies to today), the future of our Rivers and the amount of people coming here to fish and what that means to the future of our area and the Rivers we fish, and what my opinion is about the nature of a Fly Shop in the Community and the overall health of the business in the internet world. I do not plan to make these conversations one sided and my wish is that we can discuss these items and understand what we believe to be answers to the questions we all have.
